A Diffuse Citizen – Artist’s Talk

When: Tuesday 24 June 2014, 18:00-20:00
Where: Grand Union, Minerva Works, 158 Fazeley Street, Digebth, B5 5RS

Grand Union is proud to present artist Holly Antrum’s first solo exhibition, A Diffuse Citizen.

Working in a combination of 16mm and digital film and printmaking, Antrum’s attention swings between the operational life of making new images, and their near obsolescence, claiming the useful pace of each technology to form narratives. She draws upon itinerant ‘sub practices’ and interests behind these mediums, capitalising on elements that are both scattered and hybrid, chance or personal.

Next Tuesday, Grand Union will host an artist’s talk where Holly Antrum will discuss her new work with Charmian Griffin, who is Digital Producer for Artangel, teaches art criticism at Central Saint Martins and writes on art and technology.

For more information on the talk, please visit the Grand Union website. Holly Antrum’s exhibition continues until 26th July 2014.
