At-Issue on TV

We first introduced At-Issue, a short animation film by Digbeth-based Yamination Studios more than two years ago, but the time has finally come for it to become a reality!

Thanks to funding from Sky and the generous public, the film is ready and will be broadcast on Sky Arts (Sky Channel 121) on Wednesday 6th January 2016 at 16:50. If you don’t have Sky – don’t worry! We’re planning a community screening in the new year to ensure everyone gets a chance to see it. Keep an eye on the website for more information.

Here’s a short synopsis of the film:
Bartholomew, a struggling thirty-something puppet, dreams of becoming a Hollywood star just like his father. In a last effort to achieve his life goal, he auditions for his perfect role, but is threatened by all the other actors. A comedic story with heart, Bartholomew shows his perseverance and determination, but ultimately learns that to achieve his dreams he must be himself.
