Beorma Quarter
By now everyone probably knows about the Beorma Quarter – a huge new tower planned for the Digbeth Cold Storage/former Hennessey’s site on Digbeth High Street.
Many years since it was first visualised, Salhia Real Estate (Kuwaiti Sovereign Fund) have finally broken ground on the estimated £100 million project, which was due to start in September 2012.
Digbeth-based architects K4 were commissioned to work on the proposals for Beorma Quarter, and produced some great illustrations to help visualise the impact of the tower:

Dave from Suki10c has agreed to take photos of the site as work progresses, which we hope to turn into a time-lapse film of sorts to show the tower rising from the remains of Hennessey’s. The first photo is below, and Dave will be adding the photos to a dedicated album.
