Digbeth Echoes – exhibition now open!

When: Thursday 22nd August until Saturday 16th November 2013
Where: The Edge, 79-81 Cheapside, Digbeth, B12 0QH

Echoes is part of a long-term programme of work by Friction Arts, focusing on the heritage and history of Digbeth and Highgate from 1960 to 1990. Friction have been collecting stories and archive information about the area since 2008, all leading to this large-scale exhibition, which runs from today until 16th November 2013.

A performance without performers. A tour without a guide. An exhibition about place, pressed, stitched and spun out of the memories of the people who lived and worked in Digbeth and Highgate over the past 60 years.

The Echoes exhibition is free to attend, but places are strictly limited so booking is essential. It will be open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with tours lasting 90 minutes starting at the following times:

  • Thursdays: 11:00, 14:00 and 18:30
  • Fridays: 11:00 and 14:00
  • Saturdays: 14:00 and 17:00

To book your place(s) please complete the online booking form here or contact Friction Arts on info@frictionarts.co.uk or 0121 772 6160. Please click below to read more information about the exhibition.
