Eastside Projects – November 2015 Events

TRAGIC DESTINIES
Wednesday 18 November, 18:30–20:30

Join Flore Nove-Josserand to play a collaborative story-telling game. Designed and made by the artist in collaboration with psychologist Dr Drey, players use picture and event cards to create characters and tell stories about their lives and relationships with each other. From the mundane to the surreal and the downright farcical, this game allows your imagination to run riot!

It’s thirsty work so we’ll have the urn on, but feel free to bring a bottle if you want!

VOLUNTEER OPEN AFTERNOON
Wednesday 25 November 14:00–15:30

Want to see behind the scenes at an artist-led gallery or to get involved in the installation of exhibitions? Want to help run events? Meet artists? Learn new skills? Then come and volunteer at Eastside Projects.

Come along to our Open Afternoon to find out more about what is on offer and meet some of our current volunteers.

LUNCH CLUB
Friday 27 November, 13:00-14:00

Escape your desk or studio for an hour and join us at Eastside Projects for Lunch Club and conversation. Everyone is welcome. We provide hot drinks; all you need to bring is your packed lunch.

FAMILY WORKSHOP: BUILD, MAKE, DISPLAY II
Saturday 28 November, 10:30–12:00
£2/child

Be both artist and curator for a morning as we design and build unique structures to display an array of different objects in inventive ways. Will you put it up high? Hide it? Hang it upside down? Does a structure for a squishy thing look different to one for a hard one? How will you transform an ordinary object into something amazing?

Our family workshops are suitable for children aged 5–11. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To book your place click HERE
