Stefan and Franciszka Themerson were arguably the most important avant-garde film makers in pre-war Poland. To celebrate their contribution to the arts, Polish Expats Association (PEA) invites you to a special screening of three of their surviving films, right here in Digbeth:

  • The Adventure of a Good Citizen (1937)
  • Calling Mr Smith (1943)
  • The Eye and the Ear (1944-5)

As part of September’s Digbeth First Friday, the screening will take place at PEA’s Centrala space in Minerva Works, and will be accompanied by chillout music and good food.

For more information, visit the Centrala website.
