Birmingham Food Council CIC’s annual public meeting takes place next week at the Impact Hub in Digbeth. It will be an interactive discussion (with live music) on future food security — both what it means for us in Birmingham, and how the city can contribute to the growing challenge of global food security.
Along with the City Council Chief Executive Mark Rogers, you’ll be able to pick the brains of four specialist informants:
- John Crawford joins the meeting from Rothamsted Research;
- Anju Dhir is a Birmingham Environmental Health Officer;
- Andrea Graham is Head of Policy at the National Farmers Union; and
- Jon Miller is a Partner at insurer JLT Speciality and heads their UK Regional Agri-Food Practice.
