Holi Festival, also known as the festival of colours, is traditionally celebrated on the full moon in the month of Phalgun (March). The festival signifies the Hindu victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, and is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest in the Punjabi community.
In its third year, the Holi Rave Festival at No21 Digbeth will be split into two: a daytime show suitable for all the family, followed by a festival rave from 6pm.
This year’s outing will feature plenty of colour powder explosions, top DJs, and Bhangra Bingo, as well as 80s retro film screenings, an art exhibition, dance competition and much more. Taste and Liquor will be in charge of providing Birmingham’s hottest street-food, offering both Indian and international flavour fusions to the festival line-up!
