Got some kids that are full of beans this summer? Anne and Pat Molloy return to Digbeth this month with their fourth annual summer school, making learning about traditional Irish music fun.

A weekend of classes, structured sessions and group performances, culminates in a concert featuring some well-known Birmingham names including Lampa and The Father Teds. All traditional instruments are encompassed including: flute, tin whistle, melodeon, accordion, fiddle, tenor banjo, mandolin, bodhran, bones, and anglo concertina.

There are also lessons available in ballad singing, sean-nós dance, and piano and guitar accompaniment.
