Lunch Club at Eastside Projects

Eastside Projects recently held a special edition of their monthly Lunch Club, hosted by artist Kathrin Böhm and her larder of food and drink collected as she travels around the world. Kathrin brought cheeses, meats, vegetarian tarts and schnapps from her home village to Digbeth, and Eastside Projects provided homemade soup and sourdough bread made by Loaf Community Bakery in Stirchley.

The ‘Projects host a regular Lunch Club on the last Friday of the month, and everyone is invited to come along with their packed lunch – hot drinks are provided. It’s a great way to meet new people and share more about what’s happening in and around Digbeth. The Christmas break means there will be no Lunch Club in December; the next one will be on Friday 25th January, 12-1pm, after which Lunch Club will continue throughout 2013. Visit the events diary or sign up to the mailing list for details.

The next exhibition at Eastside Projects, ‘M6’ by Turner Prize nominee Mike Nelson, opens on Friday 11th January, 6-8pm. See the Facebook event page for further information.
