NHW Crime Briefing – Friday 29th June

Digbeth Residents Association and Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) is commited to working with West Midlands Police (WMP) to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in Digbeth.

WMP now send daily crime updates to the Digbeth Residents Assoociation NHW, which are being summarised weekly and shared with residents. If you have any comments or would like further information, please comment on this post or email contact@mydigbeth.co.uk

Please do not be alarmed by the number of crimes listed below. Crime is continuing to fall on our policing area thanks to the hard work of our officers and yourselves – our community.

If you are interested in learning more about what the Police’s priorities are in the coming months, want to influence these priorities, or simply want to alert the Police to a persistent problem where you live, a Public Tasking Group meeting is being held next week:

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE – 23rd JUNE 2012 at approx 13:30 Meriden Street, Digbeth
Offender(s) stole the stereo and an IPod from the vehicle due to the possible insecure rear door.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE – 23rd JUNE 2012 at approx 15:00 Alcester Street, Highgate
Offender(s) smashed the window of the vehicle and stole a number of items.

THEFT FROM OTHER VEHICLE – 23rd JUNE 2012 at approx 16:00 Cheapside, Highgate
Offender(s) smashed the window of the vehicle.
