Positively Birmingham

After a break of 12 years, and 21 years since it was first published, the contemporary photographic ode to our city, Positively Birmingham, returns for a fifth edition.

Positively Birmingham is a hardback book by Jonathan Berg, celebrating Birmingham as it is now. Since our city changes so much and so very quickly, the tome documents Birmingham in 330 colour photos.

There is a whole section dedicated to Digbeth, with The Old Crown, Curzon Street Station and the Digbeth Branch Canal all make appearances elsewhere. However, the author does state that the St Patrick’s Parade takes place along the Stratford Road… Oh dear!

The book is available to purchase for £20 at John Lewis and other city centre retailers. You can also buy it online here; bulk purchase discounts for PR use are also available.
