Pride 2015

When: Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th May
Where: various locations across Southside

Birmingham Pride takes place this weekend, and although not strictly in Digbeth but in neighbouring Southside, it’ll sure be heard in our parts!

The UK’s biggest two-day LGBT festival launches with a carnival parade at midday on Saturday 23rd May, followed by a roster of huge headline acts including Baby D, Union J, Boney M, Atomic Kitten, Heather Small, and Example. Phew!

Amusement 13 will also be holding a Birmingham Gay Pride Takeover starting from today. The venue will host acts such as Ms Dynamite (the UK’s most successful female rapper), Flava D, and Artful Dodger over three nights and four open music spaces. For more information and tickets, visit the Amusement 13 website, Facebook, or Twitter.
