St Patrick’s Festival in Jeopardy

Is the St Patrick’s Day Parade Important to you or your business?
The Birmingham St Patrick’s Day Parade is in jeopardy this year. There will be a meeting this week to explain the issues, and how the whole community needs to help to ensure it goes ahead.
Please attend if you can – make sure to invite friends, family and business acquaintances to the meeting too!
There currently is no “st patricks day parade committee” The board is going through a transition in which a new board will be elected at the egm on wed 18th Jan. The individuals who have organised the meeting mentioned above I understand wish to be involved in the new board.However untill they are voted in by the members have no decision making powers. The festival has had a difficult year with lots of change and desperately needs the support of yourselves and the community. I really hope that you will support the new board once they are elected and assist them with putting on the parade.
