Regeneration in Digbeth and HS2 – October Meeting of DRA

When: Monday 8th October 2012, 18:00-19:30
Where: Penthouse, Zellig Building, Custard Factory Digbeth

Be sure to add Monday the 8th October to your diaries. The October meeting of DRA will start at 6pm as usual, but thanks to our supporters at the Custard Factory, we will be located in the larger Penthouse room instead. Please go to the Nomad Room as usual from where you will be directed to the Penthouse. Please click here to RSVP for this meeting by the 1st October.

This meeting will be focused on the themes of Regeneration in Digbeth and HS2, with a number of high-profile speakers already confirmed. Please ensure to check mydigbeth.co.uk regularly for more information.

Espirito Brum Festival 2012

Espirito Brum is back this September!

Following on from the success of last year, Espirito Brum returns to Digbeth for a cross-cultural celebration bringing together artists from Brazil, Birmingham and the wider UK, in a festival that forms the first stage of an ongoing global exchange.

Espirito Brum is about connecting people. It’s about promoting Birmingham, its artists, its culture and its enterprise, on a truly global and profoundly local level. A roster of highly talented and respected Brazilian artists will be welcomed into our multicultural and vibrant fold; please click here to see the full festival line up.

May Meeting of DRA

The next meeting of Digbeth Residents Association will take place on Monday 14th May at 6pm in the Nomad room, ground floor Zellig, Custard Factory.

Changes are afoot with DRA, so if you can make only one meeting this year make it this one!

As well as important changes, we will also be discussing a DRA summer street party. We’d like each and every resident to have a part in the street party, whether that’s naming it, turning up to it or even volunteering their time to help with its organisation.

April Meeting of DRA

The next meeting of Digbeth Residents Association will take place on Monday 2nd April at 6pm in the Nomad room, ground floor Zellig, Custard Factory. This will be an open meeting and everyone is welcome!

Please note that DRA usually meet on the second Monday of each month; however, the April meeting of DRA has been moved forward due to the Easter Bank Holiday. Meetings will resume to normal scheduling from May.

March Meeting of DRA

The next meeting of Digbeth Residents Association will take place on Monday 5th March (tomorrow!) at 6pm in the Nomad room, ground floor Zellig, Custard Factory. This meeting is an executive meeting focussing on action-orientated conversation.

Please note that DRA usually meet on the second Monday of each month; however, the March meeting of DRA has been moved forward to allow for discussion of the St Patrick’s Festival, and the April meeting will also happen on the first Monday of April (2nd April) due to the Easter Bank Holiday. Meetings will resume to normal scheduling from May.
