The Woodman has had several periods of closure and a number of question marks over its future, but this pub is a true survivor.
A Grade II listed building designed by renowned architects James and Lister Lea, we’re proud that Birmingham Inns and Linford Developing Heritage have respectfully restored The Woodman to working glory.
Surrounded by the award-winning Eastside City Park and neighbouring Curzon Street Station, the pub is a welcome addition to Digbeth’s real ale scene. To see what’s available on the bar, visit their new website here.
If real ale is not your thing, the kitchen is also pumping out fabulous pub fare to enjoy in this historic and (according to CAMRA) nationally-important pub. Click the menu below to see a bigger version.
Digbeth Residents Association is looking forward to seeing the next stage of the pub’s rebirth in the form of a restored first floor and new outdoor terrace. In the meantime, we’ll see you by the real fire in the smoke room!
