‘Tis Autumn

When: Sunday 7th October, 19:00 onwards
Where: Spotted Dog, Warwick Street, Digbeth

It’s autumn (not officially but it does feel like it!), and that’s as good an excuse as any for a jazz session at the Spotted Dog this Sunday.

The leaves are falling, the days are darkening, it’s that naff period between the summer holidays and Christmas, so in an attempt to lighten your mood, we’re bringing you a set of autumn-themed music.

The gig will be epilogued by a Jam Session, courtesy of an affable rhythm section and the lovely Andrew Woodhead. Please bring your horns and feel free to continue the autumn theme with any tunes I may have overlooked!

Featuring the delights of:

Mathias Svennson – violin
Elliot Strand – trumpet
Chris Maddock – reeds
Andy Isherwood – reeds
Alicia Gardener-Trejo – reeds
Tom Baxter – trombone
Tom Dunnett – bass trombone/ euphonium
Beetung Goo – french horn
Tobie Carpenter – guitar
Alex Phillips – bass
John Hirst – drum kit

Pamela Pinski
