Is Birmingham a visual place? Photographer and blogger Franzi Bährle is certain of it. Franzi is currently working on a project called “visualBrum” and would love for supporters of Digbeth Residents Association to get involved!

visualBrum will be a community covering what’s happening in Birmingham with videos and audio slideshows. These will be posted on the (hyper)local platform n0tice, where everyone can post reports about what’s happening near them (including tweets, pictures or videos). Here’s my guest post which was published on n0tice yesterday, explaining my project further.

I’m very much looking forward to getting the community started. The “kickoff” will be on March 26 – if you’re interested in joining us on visualBrum or want to know more about it – let me know, I’m looking forward to hearing from you!

visualBrum sounds like a great hyperlocal idea, and something that Digbeth, as well as Birmingham as a whole, could benefit from. If you are interested in learning more, Franzi is happy to hear from you.
