What are people who live in Digbeth called?

Regular readers may remember me questioning this in passing in a post in early June. I came up with three options: Digbethians, Digbethites, and Digbethonians.

After putting the question out on Twitter, Daisy Hale and BBC WM’s very own Pete Morgan got involved. Pete preferred Digbethites, but Daisy went out on a limb and made a completely new suggestion, Digbethsauruses.

The ensuing conversation follows below.

I have decided to settle the question once and for all with a poll on our Facebook page. If you have an opinion, let it be known!

The poll will stay open until midnight on Sunday 8th July, when all the votes from Digbeth is Good and My Digbeth followers will be tallied, and a winner announced. And all who reside in Digbeth will be known by that name for ever more!

Don’t miss out on your chance to take part – VOTE NOW! 🙂
