The next event as part of Margaret Street Free Arts Council’s (MSFAC) six-month programme is What is a Collective?. Running all of this week, this instalment investigates the nature and sustainability of radical art culture by platforming groups of artists and working practice.

This is not a formal exhibition, but live making sessions where artists work collaboratively in a space open to the public. The week closes with a public viewing on Friday evening, followed by a Free Democratic Symposium – an open discussion – on Sunday afternoon.

MSFAC are currently showing their West Midlands’ Punk Influence on the World map as part of Friction Arts’ Digbeth Echoes exhibition at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, open until 15th September.
