Work Experience at RoguePlay Theatre

RoguePlay are a highly physical theatre company, producing work using aerial circus, acrobatics, poetry and dance. Alongside their national and international performances, RoguePlay also has an extensive education programme for young people, designed to challenge, encourage and empower participants.

Know How 2015 is RoguePlay’s work experience programme aimed at young people aged 14-25 with physical disabilities, sensory impairments and long term illness. Know How offers young people the opportunity to work with industry professionals to develop their creative and leadership skills, gain practical knowledge of varied art forms including circus and theatre, and an insight into the day-to-day running of a theatre company.

Those on placement will also attend live theatre performance and join tour of Digbeth’s street art. The placements are between May and July 2015 and spaces are still available!

For more information, visit the RoguePlay website. This project has been generously funded by Birmingham City Council and supported by The Birmingham Repertory Theatre.
